Extensive building plans included 27 classrooms, ofﬁces, auditorium, lunchroom and kitchen, full parking lot with recharge and drainage system and split-faced block exterior walls with stucco front. Regency’s team had to overcome signiﬁcant municipal and logistical hurdles to breathe life back into the site. The team proposed adding an additional bearing wall in the basement thus saving a substantial amount on ﬂoor trusses. Plans were reviewed and redesigned with the architect, and the savings were passed on to the client.
