Originally planned as a single-story building, the project took an unexpected turn when the client secured a tenant for a second floor—halfway through construction. Regency swiftly adapted, redesigning the building to include a second story, an elevator, and reconfigured utility lines. The team managed extensive site work, installed new utilities, and ordered additional materials and HVAC systems to meet the updated scope.
Only one detail was left unchanged; the final deadline. New floor or not, school was scheduled to start in mid-August and the building would have to be ready. And it was, less than five months after tractor touched ground!
