Creation of New Jersey headquarters for national real estate company
Project Duration
Cammeby’s International planned its New Jersey location as a modern workspace for their real estate company and leased office spaces. Each company enjoys secure, high-capacity network and electrical infrastructure, designed to meet all future tech demands with ease. From the sleek panelized exterior to the many custom interior high-end decor elements, Regency’s team took pride in getting every detail just right. Seamless collaboration between the designers, building professionals and project administrators brought this complex project to completion on time, without comprising on the detailed finishes.
Halfway through the gut renovation, the clients approached Abe Auerbach with a somewhat bizarre request. They had found a potential tenant to lease the second floor of the new school building, which would be a financial boon. There was just one little hitch. The original plans only called for one story, and the project was halfway through.
Never one to turn down a challenge, Abe went back to the drawing board- quite literally- and had the architect update all the plans, including the addition of an elevator. Within days, the Regency team was operating on the updated timetable, ordering additional materials and HVAC units, and reconfiguring utility lines.
Only one detail was left unchanged; the final deadline. New floor or not, school was scheduled to start in mid-August and the building would have to be ready. And it was, less than five months after tractor touched ground!
